Shoebox Appeal
As a church we have been involved with the filling of shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child for 18 years.
We will continue to serve under-privileged children in Eastern Europe, and so this year we are going to donate our boxes to the Rotary Shoebox Scheme. Details have been published in the March magazine. It's simple, a box can be bought for £2.00 and then filled as usual in time for the November Family Service. The boxes are smallish, so care needs to be taken with the size of items bought and the categories are slightly different allowing more specific choices to be made.
